Collie Ryan ventured out of West Texas for the first time in nearly three decades to play a show in Los Angeles back in the summer of 2009. This entertaining interview with Mark McNeill on Future Roots Radio on KPFK aired just before that concert. Collie was a stranger in a strange land, no doubt, and her clear-eyed take on Los Angeles remains quite refreshing.
